I tend to run into people that encounter an issue with one of the operating systems Apple is offering, sometimes even something they face with hardware.

Whether this is a bug; a regression; something designed to work in a specific way but doesn’t meet your method of working, provide feedback. Certainly when it comes down to newly released products. People probably think : “Someone else will experience the same thing and will report this.” and then get frustrated if it doesn’t get solved.

Report feedback, early and often.

How to file feedback?

Apple offers a variety of ways to send in feedback.

As a consumer you can work with AppleCare via the website, support app or phone. A good way to started is through https://www.apple.com/feedback/ if it is non-OS related. Like to call? Find one of the contact numbers here : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201232 and of course, use the Support App (https://apps.apple.com/be/app/apple-support/id1130498044) since that one also holds the overview of your devices etc.

As a professional IT administrator, there are the above mentioned methods but there is more!

That’s cool, but what with beta’s?

During BETA stages of an OS, use the feedback app! You can find it during these early development stages in every OS ( don’t tell anyone, typing in applefeedback:// in Safari also launches the app outside of the beta releases ;)).

You will need a Managed AppleID that is tied to your organization for it to work. This way Apple knows which organization is sending in feedback. You can even see the feedback your colleagues are sending in.

Good luck on filing feedback and let’s make yours and everyone else’s experience the best we possibly can!
